OKUP established the Children’s Club in 2018 for the left behind children of women migrants in Char Salepur union under Charbhadrasan upazila of Faridpur district.
More than a hundred children are now growing up here with love and care.
In the absence of their mothers at home, we help them overcome their loneliness. We also teach them about moral values and self care.
They pass a healthy time by playing, singing, learning and by doing many activities.
Before joining the OKUP Child Club, I didn't know much about personal hygiene. Simple things like washing hands properly, cutting nails, or wearing sandals were not a part of my daily routine. It was only after attending the sessions with our child club mentor that I learned the importance of these basic practices. Now, I make sure to wash my hands regularly, keep my nails clean, and wear sandals to protect my feet. These small changes have made a big difference in my life. I feel healthier and more confident, and I am grateful to OKUP for teaching me these essential habits.

"I used to be shy and wasn’t sure about my drawing and singing. But after joining OKUP’s drawing and music sessions, I became more confident. Now, I can perform on stage and even won a prize at the OKUP sports program.
